-
- TIME AND FREQUENCY WORKSHOP
- ON SYNCHRONIZATION IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
-
- FEBRUARY 21-23, 1996
-
-
- A 3-day interactive course presenting needs and techniques for
- time and frequency synchronization in telecommunications
- networks, both from scientific and industrial perspectives.
-
-
- This workshop will be an interactive learning experience mixing
- presentations both from scientific laboratories and from
- industry. Included in the program are some of the standards
- committees current work on synchronization. A question and
- discussion forum will be provided throughout the workshop.
-
-
-
- WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
- The needs of engineers, systems analysts, and
- technicians who work with synchronization and syntonization of
- equipment using timing signals will be addressed. The focus is
- specifically on problems from the telecommunications industry.
- Lectures will address beginners in the field, developing concepts
- by starting from basics. More advanced workers will find
- opportunities to discuss some current concerns.
